You do not need to know music first, thou you can learn if you already know some.

You need some sort of keyboard or piano keys. This can be a real or electric piano of any quality. It can even be a piano playing app. You simply need to be able to press where a key would be and hear the sound of it.

You could even use a xylophone or bell instrument as long as it has the equivalent of black and white piano keys and 2 octaves of notes.

You can apply this to other instruments, but that is definitely not a requirement.

The broad range is middle school, high school, or any adult. It may take longer for the younger or less experienced learner but neither should be discouraged by not "fitting in" with their age. This course is designed to be applicable to many types and ages of learners. It can be taken slow or fast and works the same either way other than consistency of some sort being the best! How Music Works works the same regardless if age or any other unique quality of various learners.

Not at this time. You can take a look at purchasing individual music lessons if you would like to approach this in a way where you would earn a grade or certificate as your work would be checked by a qualified teacher! Simply be sure to mention the use of this course when setting that up!
